Instagram Art Bar

Instagram “Art Bar” Amenity Re-Design | Gensler | Work-4 | MPK25: Menlo Park, CA

In collaboration with Vivian Hsiao, Randy Howder, Kelly Dubisar, Samantha Lewis, Angel Velasco, Ben Vela, and Laura Richardson

Facebook approached us six months after the completion of the original “Temple-Bar” inspired space, as Instagram was taking over MPK25 from Facebook. Instagram desired a hybrid “art bar” and “Japanese whiskey bar” inspired space. We decided to white-wash the space, similar to San Francisco bar, 111 Minna, and add in shelving for incorporation of vinyl records, an antique sound system, and whiskeys.
